La Cuadra San Cristóbal, a 2.7-hectare walled compound in northwest Mexico City, stands as one of Luis Barragán's masterpieces. Designed in the late 1960s as a private estate, this architectural landmark seamlessly integrates residential space, equestrian facilities, and meticulously planned landscapes.
Starting in 2026, visitors will be able to explore the grounds and experience firsthand Barragán's masterful manipulation of light, color, and space, elements that have made his work internationally renowned. The property showcases his signature style through bold geometric designs. Shapes, vibrant walls, and the interaction of water elements create an iconic modernist oasis. Spectacular pink walls frame the reflecting pool, where water becomes a sculptural element and a source of contemplative tranquility.
